Research and Development:

While Geromatrix®places greatest emphasis on the practical aspects of product development, we also look to the future with advanced research aimed at obtaining purer, more potent nutraceutical and natural ingredients from medicinal plants. From Nature's medicine chest, we select an herb long known for its effectiveness. We then search traditional and modern literature to identify its most effective ingredients, and for assurance of safety. These ingredients are then purified and incorporated into an easy-to-take dosage form to make the next generation Geromatrix® condition specific products.

The search for suitable candidates is not an easy one. The plant kingdom provides abundant and untapped sources of biological diversity. These discovered and undiscovered resources offer a wealth of therapeutic diversity for new nutritional supplements and pharmaceuticals. The challenge, however, is to identify effective plant components for maintaining health from literally millions of potential opportunities.

Geromatrix®begins with a working knowledge of the traditional medicinal uses of various plants. This information is then cross-checked against the results of literature searches for previously discovered biological activity, chemical constituents, and other reported medicinal uses.

When Geromatrix®identifies a medicinal plant for its therapeutic target, it isolates and identifies a pure, active, patentable compound from the plant extract.

In developing each Geromatrix® formulation, we utilize international renowned National Standard where we examine the clinical effectiveness of each ingredient used in our formulas.
