Our Price $44.95 Retail Price $50.95 According to an article published in the journal of the American Medical Association in 1999, 43% of women in the U.S deal with sexual dysfunction. Hormonal changes in the body are one contributing factor for loss of libido. Many prescription medications have sexual side effects and just meeting the daily stresses of life can cause anxiety and over tiredness, which in turn can diminish sexual desire. DESCRIPTION Ceduce Female Libido Enhancer is a vitamin and herb supplement specifically formulated for a woman’s sexual and general health.FUNCTIONS Vitamin B-6 dependent enzymes are required for the biosynthesis of many neurotransmitters, including serotonin, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. Vitamin B-6, a coenzyme in amino acid metabolism, is also necessary for the processing of homocysteine and the conversion of tryptophan into serotonin. Vitamin B-6 is also suggested to be effective in the treatment of premenstrual syndrome, including associated depression. This may be due to vitamin B-6’s requirement for neurotransmitter synthesis, e.g. serotonin. Folic acid together with vitamin B-12 serves as a methyl donor for biosynthetic reactions, including the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. Healthy control of homocysteine metabolism can reduce the risk of coronary vascular disease, the leading cause of death for women in the U.S. Reduced risk of coronary vascular disease, e.g. thrombotic infarction or stroke, is also associated with consumption of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, e.g. EPA/DHA. The leaves of Damiana (Turnera diffusa) were traditionally used by the Mayan Indians of Central America as a general tonic, helping to restore normal and healthy gynecological function. Some have suggested it for relief of menstrual pain and associated headache. The rhizome of Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) is used in Chinese traditional medicine as a uterine tonic, helping to regulate the menstrual cycle and relieve menstrual pains. Its usefulness as an antispasmodic is thought to be due to its content of various coumarins. Immune enhancing herbs, such as Shitake mushroom and astragalus, as well as those that act to improve adrenal insufficiency, such as licorice, are included to support the special needs for a woman’s health. INDICATIONS Ceduce Female Libido Enhancer may be a useful dietary adjunct for women who wish to supplement their diet with those nutrients particularly important for female health.
